Like a year late but this is my report blog haha. I chose to do this report blog on two stories; Zombie Attack and War of the Worlds. I'm going to focus on theme in this case. Basically, these two stories are in a form of Twitter. They are tweets but are tweeted in a way to tell a story. I find that really interesting since I encountered with a similar type of story before. That story is called "Dear David" which is of this guy tweeting how he got a new apartment and weird things have been going on so he has set cameras and found out some type of ghost has been watching him sleep.
Zombie Attack is about basically what the title is. There are not many survivors and it is hard to know who is still alive out there and who is a zombie or about to become one. Sleeping is hard for them as they aren't that safe scared to be attacked by more zombies. They headed to a larger city and settled there. Later, Greg has disappeared as chances are that he's dead or is part of the dead. The story leaves you with such a cliffhanger, not knowing if the main character did actually go through with the plan in order to get actual food.
War of the Worlds was a much more hard read as the tweets were basically explaining moreover the places and the things.
The difference between these two stories is that both focus on a different type of situation, for one it's about zombies and the other it is about aliens invading earth. The similarities are that they are in twitter form and tell their story as if actually tweeting while it's happening. They are very interesting, and it is an interesting way of telling a story.
Also if you want to check out "Dear David" here is the link as well
